Statement of the Council of Judges of Ukraine on beating judge of the Appeal Court of Cherkasy region The Council of Judges of Ukraine is deeply troubled and concerned about numerous cases of robberies that occur in relation to judges and actually threatened their lives and health. Only last year against judges had committed several criminal offenses, robbery, accompanied by physical, psychological pressure and damage their property.

Press briefing “Measures implemented by the judiciary to restore public confidence in the judicial system” 25 March 2016 During the briefing, the leaders of the judiciary bodies will report on the steps that the judiciary is taking to create high-qualified judicial corps (namely results of qualification assessment of judges, review of disciplinary cases) and to establish interaction with the public and the media.

The judge of the Court of Appeal of Cherkasy region was attacked March 22, 2016 in the village of Chernobay, in her private home a judge-secretary of the Chamber of Criminal of the Court of Appeal of Cherkasy region Natalia Okhrimenko was attacked by the robber.
