The IV International Judicial Forum “Judicial Reform: Status and Development Trends” Started at the Supreme Court of Ukraine The IV International Judicial Forum “Judicial Reform: Status and Development Trends” started at the Supreme Court of Ukraine. For two days, the lawyers of the highest level will discuss, in particular, the following matters: improvement of justice constitutional regulation; reality and prospects of the judicial precedent introduction in Ukraine; ways and mechanisms of reformation of the procedural law; special mechanisms of criminal liability; tax disputes, disputes arising out of legally binding relations, “intellectual” disputes and bankruptcy cases.

Голова Ради суддів України Валентина Сімоненко коментує пропозиції щодо внесення змін до Закону про судоустрій і статус суддів Относительно норм законопроекта, которые предусматривают отстранение Совета судей Украины от процедуры согласования документов по квалификационному оцениванию, думаю, эта идея возникла в связи с замечаниями ССУ к порядку такого оценивания и, как следствие, долгим согласованием, но идея эта неправильная. Авторитет нормативного акта, если его согласовывает ССУ, только увеличивается среди судей и общества. Я хочу обратить внимание, насколько «сырой» и непродуманный документ относительно порядка и методологии проведения оценивания зашел в Совет судей и какой вышел – с разделением положений, анализом, с выписанной процедурой. Я понимаю, что отстранение ССУ – идея тех лиц, которые хотят уволить всех судей.
