Council of judges
of Ukraine

Three Working Groups met in Lviv, Ukraine, on 6-th of April, for a regional dialogue on judicial reform. The meeting is organised as part of the project "Regional Dialogue on Judicial Reform", funded by the Programmatic Cooperation Framework for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus.

The Council of Europe and European Union are working in partnership with these partner countries to help them meet the Council of Europe benchmarks in human rights, democracy and the rule of law and improve the lives of citizens.

Relevant European standards and best practices of other Council of Europe member States will be presented and discussed. Participating countries could exchange information about the respective experiences, the challenges faced and the solutions adopted in the different areas.

The outcomes of the discussions will be the subject of publications that will be issued by the Council of Europe.
